People You Know Who Don’t Know

As I was sitting here enjoying my dinner, I starting thinking…

Holy shit! IS THAT MY BOYFRIEND’S BROTHER IN LAW? Did my my boyfriends brother in law just walk in here? Oh my fucking god!

Here we are sitting in this little Irish pub in the middle of the city we live in. My heart just sunk and I thought I was going to fall out of my chair as I just told my husband that John’s brother in law just walked in and is standing 50ft away at the bar. I noticed him before he noticed me and it was confirmed when I heard them say Hi and used his first name! So here we are the only ones at a table in the middle of this pub with a couple people at the bar, early on a Wednesday evening Date night. I’m hiding my face behind my hands just wanting to die.

I told hubby “We need to get boxes right now!” and “he better leave” and shit because I do not want to have to explain to my boyfriend’s brother in law why I out on a date with another man. He will think I’m cheating on my boyfriend with my husband… Which I’m not! I’m not cheating on anyone but he doesn’t know that! Haha 😂

I’ll explain a little by saying that even though John lives in another state he does happen to have family here in Texas. Some of his family lives about 45 mins away from me. We even visit them sometimes when he is here. While we are pretty sure they know I’m still married it’s just easier to not have to explain that I am still married, and living with my husband and sleeping with him and in a relationship with him and oh yeah John sleeps in our bed too lol 😂. Easier that the older (very catholic) generation just stay out of our poly relationship. Basically we don’t mention it and they don’t ask. I still wouldn’t want to have to explain or have them start making phone calls to John or his family… Oh lord have mercy! I’m suprised this hasn’t happened before in 4 years!

Anyway, thankfully, we got our boxes and can slip out of here undetected!
