I haven’t had a full night’s sleep for the past three nights. I’ve woken up at 4 am each night with an extremely painful cage-strangled erection, and the only way to calm myself down is to get out of bed and do something to take my mind off it. I will let CM address the “waking up” question but as far as the hair goes, yes I do make him shave around the cage. I also keep his hair trimmed around and above that. You will have pardon the fact that this picture was taken while he is in desperate need of a shave. Life happens and sometimes there isn’t the extra time to take to keep the shave perfect. I am realistic and I know how busy we are.
As for the rest of him being shaved, no, I do not like him shaved like that. š

To answer your questions:
1) I do adjust somewhat to the situation, but it also does get worse as time goes on. For example – last night, I woke up at least THREE times with a painfully filled cage… but I was able to get back to sleep without getting out of bed.
2) Yes, ML likes me well groomed down there (as do I), it’s just a matter of finding the time to do it with our crazy family schedule. Also, there’s the small matter of the cage being in the way… I’ve tried to talk ML into letting me out for just a shave, but that hasn’t gone so well. š
