When cagedmonkey and I first started out with chastity and realized we’ve always been living an FLR it was because of Mistress Ivey and her amazing, easy to read, down to earth books and website, Becoming a Mistress. I’m extremely appreciative of the work she’d put into all of it so that I could become a better wife and woman in charge of her husband.
Yesterday, I lost a friend. Today I take a moment to remember an amazing woman and her hubby, who’ve I’ve gotten to know much more deeply, on a much more personal level, in the past few years. I’m sad to learn of Mistress Ivey’s passing but I know that she’s left behind an awesome legacy and she will not easily be forgotten. She will be forever missed and we are sending our love prayers and love out to her husband and the rest of the family. She was a wonderful author, woman, wife and mother.
Thank you for all of the knowledge you have shared through the years and all of the experience you leave behind. Even though you are not physically with us you will continue to teach and mentor as the years go on.
I received notification last night too. I then checked the internet to see if I could find anything more out. Nothing showed up. I too find it sad that she passed. I have several of her books and found she was helpful indeed. I received regular emails as I followed her and there was no indication that she was so sick. I knew she was ill—but not to the extent. I supppse there wasn’t anything we might have done but pray.
I’m sure “airing the laundry” wasn’t something that she wanted to do. She certainly didn’t want to appear that sick to her followers and readers. Everyone knew she slowed down with the blog and wasn’t doing nearly as active.
I knew she was battling the epilepsy & that they were just having lots of trouble controlling for over a year at least. That, she and nemo made public. When she had iveyskeys up and running she had gotten sick and there could have been other health issues she didn’t share because… Reasons.
She indeed left a legacy.
I’m very sad.
well thanks for letting us all know. her articles were very insightful and not full of internet fantasy but more realistic relationships regarding this subject
You are absolutely correct and she will be dearly missed.
Yes, this is very sad news, I followed her for awhile, and brought one of her books for my wife to read.
I think she was the first person to talk about FLR to me some 15 years ago.
Very sad
I’m glad you found her books and information helpful. At least it’s still all out there for people to find and use as a resource! 🙂
Perhaps her hubby will keep the blog going.
Only just found out about Mistress Ivey
What a loss, My Mistress and I learned
so much from her. Also all the wonderful people we encountered on her site Ivey’s Keys. Just so sad.
It is sad Mick and nice to see you! I don’t think we’ve talked since the site went down.
I know, we miss all the people from
The Ivey’s Keys site, we learned so
Much and a lot of enjoyment
So late to the game! I had a feeling she may have passed and I’m just now seeing.. I truly loved her books!
Yeah…
