I know everyone out there is waiting for some updates from me on some recent events. Don’t worry! This might be a blog about tease and denial, but I promise I will get to all of it in due time.
I want to start with my birthday surprise.

For my birthday, Michele and John got me a super fun toy I had been interested in for quite a while: the Maus-Tec Edge-o-Matic 3000. This machine does pretty much what the name implies – it automatically edges you by using “biofeedback” data to keep from making you cum.
“And what exactly is ‘biofeedback’ data?” you ask?
I’ll get to that.

The Edge-o-Matic comes with the primary controller unit, a “Magic Wand” like vibrator, a power cord… as well as some conspicuous tubing.
It’s here where the concept of “biofeedback” comes into play.
The Edge-o-Matic detects and prevents orgasms by the involuntary tightening of the pelvic floor muscles that squeeze during orgasm. The way it measures these is by differences in pressure within the anal cavity.
In other words: the machine uses an inflatable butt plug to feel when your muscles squeeze when you’re about to cum, and uses that as a trigger to stop stimulation and edge you.

Here’s the kicker: the inflatable plug does not come with the kit, you need to get that on your own. The tubing included with the kit is to “patch” the plug tubing to connect with the machine so it can make pressure measurements.
Again, in other words: you’ll need to buy an inflatable butt plug and do some arts and crafts to get started. In all honesty, though, it wasn’t too hard to get set up. The kit comes with instructions on how to perform the patch, and it’s pretty easy to do.

Those of you intimidated by the idea of using an inflatable butt plug, don’t worry – it’s just for reading air pressure signals from muscle contractions, you don’t have to inflate it. However, it does help to give your plug a small pump to create a little “firmness” when trying to insert it.
Also falling into the “not included” file was a sleeve toy for your cock, if desired. The vibrator will still give stimulation, but the purchase of wand accessory helps provide a “fuller experience.”

If you’re interested in exactly what that “fuller experience” is like, stay tuned to the blog – I’ll be describing how it works and how it feels in greater details in the near future in a half product-review/half horny-time story. You won’t want to miss it!

Jon
